The Enterprise has a small photographic gallery at the back of the pub that is sponsored by a local photographic printer, Danny Pope of Matchless Prints in Lambs Conduit Street.

The current exhibition is called Atlantic, a series of photographs by Paddy Sutton ‘Atlantic’ is a series of 20 photographs that draws together a love of the sea and the biggest maritime story of WWII - the Battle of the Atlantic - in which 30,000 allied sailors lost their lives and more than 3,000 ships were sunk.

Paddy Sutton plotted places in the Atlantic where the action took place, especially where ships were sunk and photographed those locations. Where possible each photograph is named after a ship that was sunk in the location the shot was taken.

The photographs were hand printed by Danny Pope who has developed a legendary reputation in the photographic world. ‘Atlantic’ has been produced in an edition of 20.  The complete series can be seen, and are available for sale, at Matchless Prints, 36 Lamb’s Conduit Street, 020 7405 8899.  Framed £395, unframed £355, inc vat.

A selection of seven prints may be viewed at the pub or you can view the whole series at www.bakeryprojects.com
